Light, spring-like flavor
The style is “Saison,” a beer style traditionally consumed in southern Belgium. The fruity banana aroma derived from the yeast, combined with the mild bitterness of IBUKI hops, gives this beer a light, spring-like flavor. Saison beer was initially enjoyed by Belgian farmers, who would prepare the beer in early spring and drink it in between work. Because it was perfect for quenching their thirst and refreshing in the summer, many Saisons are relatively light in body and mouthfeel. This particular Saison goes well with fried foods.
